Half Dragon
A downloadable game for Windows
Half Dragon
Overview
Half Dragon is a open world first person RPG I am working on in my spare time (Currently Half Dragon is in pre alpha and i am not the best programmer so expect lots of bugs)
Story
In the future, a massive corporation sets out to colonize a distant planet, starting with a large island divided into four distinct regions. The corporation has a dark side—they exploit their workers, forcing them to clear the land and build infrastructure such as power plants and prisons. Any worker who refuses is immediately imprisoned. Instead of building new homes, the company repurposes ancient, medieval houses left behind by a long-extinct civilization that once thrived on the planet. They're too cheap to invest in proper housing for the laborers.
Ten years into the project, the company faces increasing difficulties. Resources are running low, construction is slowing, and unrest is spreading. To deal with this, they release the imprisoned workers, including the player, to return to work. However, as the player explores the island, they begin to uncover the company’s darkest secrets. What caused the ancient civilization's extinction? What is the company really after? And who—or what—runs the company?
